For those Sports Fanatics, who are familiar with Motorsports, know of Lewis Hamilton to be of a great stature, and for those who don’t, Lewis is THE greatest Formula One (F1) driver of all time. There were records some thought would never be broken but then, Lewis Hamilton stormed the scene. I reckon most of the people must be familiar with his name through their GK books, but with so much grandeur, Lewis is not somebody who must just be remembered through the books! Lewis has been around the scene since 2007 and at a time where young drivers are hit with the harsh reality of the Sport, Hamilton continued to dominate!

Formula One’s Legacy has had greats like Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel, but none as great as Hamilton. He started his career with McLaren, winning his first World Championship in 2008. Since 2013, he has been associated with Mercedes and ever since 2016, he has won all the World Championships. The latest addition to his feats being the Brazilian Grand Prix held on the 14th of November, defeating his close counterpart Verstappen. This was Hamilton’s 101st win and 179th podium finish! According to the man himself, the win has been one of his toughest ones, since he defied all odds. He received a five-place grid penalty for taking a new engine at the start of the weekend, and had to start the sprint from the last. A race win which he himself would not have harboured, finished off clinically well.

The Seven-time World Champion looks in sublime form as he sits second in the Season’s Rankings, hoping to clinch the next round at Qatar, to go past Verstappen and clinch his Eighth Championship!

A fairytale outing for India at the Cologne Boxing World Cup!
